Wow what a freakin' weekend! I had a great time and I think I'm still recovering. We all threw a 'Going Away' Bash for our very close friend and homegirl, Betchay, who will unfortunately be moving to Boston next month. We'll miss her so much. She wanted to go roller skating so that's what we all did friday night. Luckily I didn't bust my ass but I was very close. =P It was so much fun and it's always a blast to be with close friends. After the roller skating, we all headed to IHOP to get some grub. Saturday night came and it was time for Tukey's B-Day & Maria's house party. Shiet, I drank up to like 20-30 shots that night and I still think I haven't peed out the leftover 40% of alcohol. Ray just kept giving it to us.

I had a good time last night, thanks to my friends Ivy and Jeriza, I finally got to go out. It's been so long... I was glad to see alot of nice faces there, like my bestfriend Joey and his crew, my bf's bestfriend Jerome and his crew, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) chigga_one, tical33, a_stylez, d0pee, and a LJ icon, miss_tia. She was so sweet, I'm glad to have finally met her. I also got to meet some cool kats from Queens. People thought I was drunk cause I couldn't keep my eyes open, but I didn't even drink anything. I was a little tired since I've been shopping all day. My boyfriend was sweet enough to help me pick out some clothes and shoes. I make too many bad fashion choices so it's good to have someone tell me if my taste is ugly. =P I was on a shopping spree. My last check racked up to $1450 so I was livin' large for like 5 hours. When I got home I was nearly broke...hehe jk

Today was a beautiful day, so bright, warm & sunny. We decided to head down to the beach. Yet this time we decided to hang out in a different beach... a nude beach in SANDY HOOK (Gunison Beach) which prolly means "Show your GUN" beach. Anyways, we got to the place and found that there are so many unshy people in this beach. I couldn't help notice all the fully exposed franks and beans and headlights. Ahhh, what a breath-taking view I had. I especially loved the view of the old naked men with the big bellies...who just emerged from the COLD ocean water...hehehe It was like seeing the character "Angry Naked Man" from 'Friends' over & over again =oP However, I got used to the environment, and had a wonderful time in the beach. =)

 First week of work is actually going pretty good. I was granted a cute little cubicle, a little private space just for me. I got one by the window so I get enough light and air condition..whohoo! I'm working for a lawfirm so it was kinda strange having to figure out how they organize all their cases. I'm in charge of programming their new online database which should help all the lawyers and clients. I never noticed how many forms which needs to be created. It's alot of work but at least I found it to be pretty simple since I mainly have to use SQL and create fields into PDF format. My boss also said I may be in charge of the marketing stand point of it later, but I'll worry about that... later. =P Anyways, I gotta go get some rest. I just got back from the gym two hours ago and I'm gonna regret it in the morning if I don't catch my Zzzz. Night guys!

Starting my job tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous but I think it'll be okay. I got a job for the summer as a full-time IT programmer at my mom's lawfirm in downtown, NYC. I gotta finish creating database applications for them that they can use online, or something like that. =P I'm looking forward to working again, time to make money! =) My hours are pretty cool - 10 AM - 5:30 PM.  When is it gonna be a good sunny day???!!! We were suppose to go to Six Flags Great Adventure today but, obviously, the weather stopped us from doing so. Darn, and I was looking forward to the thrill all week too!!! It sucks to plan things like these cause you always have to depend on the weather. =( Next week might be a bad week to go too cause I heard about "isolated thunderstorms" that may occur. I guess I have to go a week after that, hopefully. On a rainy day like this, me and my boyfriend either like to stay home or watch a movie. Since the heater seemed to be blasting to 90 degrees, we decided to leave the house and watch a movie. We went to watch "Bruce Almighty". Bruce Almighty stars Jim Carrey as Bruce Nolan, a “human interest” television reporter in Buffalo, New York who is discontented with almost everything in life, despite his popularity and the love of his girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston). At the end of the worst day in his life, Bruce angrily ridicules and rages against God – and God responds. He appears in human form (Morgan Freeman) and, endowing Bruce with all of His divine powers, challenges Bruce to take on the big job and see if he can do it any better. This movie was hilarious and I would definitely buy the DVD when it comes out in stores. The best thing about this movie is that it reminds you to go back to your faith. It tells you that even when going gets tough, God is there to listen. I've been blaming Him lately for giving me many downfalls in my life lately, mainly pertaining to the lack of any work opportunities. I've realized lately that just because I don't have a job or it feels like I've been struggling more and more, I shouldn't depend on God to send my resumes and get that foot in the door. The movie pretty much kicks you in the ass and tells you that your destiny doesn't just rely upon Him but also yourself. You are your own miracle. I remember when I was small, my sister or dad would have to stay late from work and my mom would worry. I was very religious at this time, I even planned to be a nun when I was young. Anyways, when things like this happened, (while I'm laying on my bed) I would take my bible and place it on my chest and pray to the Lord that he would bring my loved ones home safe.  I swear, after I finished and placed the bible back on the shelf, I would hear my sister or my dad open the front door. I knew He was listening to my prayers and was very grateful. Lately I think I've spoiled myself from those moments and always expect everything to go my way, and the bad thing is that I depended on Him too much for my happiness and got lazy to work on my own destiny and contentness. I stopped praying cause I thought He'd always handle it. And when He didn't, I figured He just didn't care anymore. I was wrong. Today was the first time I prayed for a long time. I prayed in the car, driving to the diner from the movies. I prayed, but not just for myself, I prayed for my loved ones and my boyfriend. I prayed for their happiness and prayed for God to help my boyfriend through his struggles. I prayed for him to get that job he's wanted and for money to come his way cause he deserves it. Chris has been wanting a job at Schering-Plough but was refused a job opportunity when it was filled by another applicant a week ago. That really hit him hard. Anyways, when we finally got to the diner to get some burgers, Chris ran into his old high school friend, Miguel. They were reminiscing until Miguel asked him what kind of job he's looking for. Chris said he was initially looking for a position as a chemist in Schering-Plough. Surprisingly, Miguel's girlfriend works in Schering-Plough and said he'll ask her to hook him up for a referral. Wow, God works fast huh? =) I'm gonna pray more often now...

*sigh* Just got my lil' cousin's wedding invitation in the mail. Vanessa, whom I've grown up with since I was five, is gonna get married next year. It's a lil sad to realize that we're definitely all grown up now. However, I am very happy for her and we're heading down to Portland, OR next summer for her wonderful occasion. Wishing her the best! Okay, I've been working out since January 6, 2003 and I've been keeping up with it religiously as well as maintaining my diet. My goal is to get real healthy and fit by the month of July and I hope I've made a huge change. My overall goal is to get tone and get that desired hour-glass figure. Mainly, I'm trying to get rippppppped. I know alot of people think a girl getting ripped looks a little masculine but I'm mainly just trying to get rid of most of my body fat and gain a lil' muscle. I still have to work on my abs more and get that six pack or vertical lines I've been wanting. I'm just sick of feeling insecure when I walk into a room and places like the beach. This year will be different... I hope =)

FRIDAY NIGHT: I went out to Club Tribeca (Fort Lee) with my good friend Carol and the rest of the 5 girlees. It was Lady's Night and I was feelin' right..hehehe. The top floor was being occupied by only ladies, drinks, and sexy male strippers. Our 7 hands were grabbing plump butt cheeks from left to right. I was mostly trying to grab the g-strings and let it slap on their bare skins. =P Too bad I didn't bring my camera phone with me so I can capture the moment, maybe next time. Yet, my man's body doesn't compare to any of theirs cause he's such a hottie =) After the "performance", we went back downstairs to shake some rumps and continued to drink more and more... Me and Carol started seeing doubles and sometimes triples. At that point, I realized I had enough to drink so I bought 4 glasses of cranberry juice to prevent me from getting too fucked up. It was a good night and I'm soooo glad the music was bangin' on all floors. Thanks girls for a fabulous night out! =)
SATURDAY: I'm still sore from working out hard for the past week, I could hardly move in the morning...ouch my abbbbbbbbbbs. Me and Chris went to the mall cause he wanted to buy a phone like mine (cause he's such a biter =P) but he couldn't get the cool discount I got with mine. My phone was suppose to cost me $399.99 but I got it for only $99.99...nah nah ne nah nah. With cleavage, you can get away with anything..hehehe j/k Anyways, he's gonna look somewhere else. Afterwards, we got back and took a loooong-ass nap. The End.

Went to the Nets Vs. Celtics Playoffs game tonight with Chris and 6 other people. We got tickets, thanks to our friend Nik... they came in real handy. I've been dying to go for a while now. We had seats up at the nose bleeds but man, was it more vivid and exciting then being in front of the tv. Even though we were up there, it still felt like we were right on the court. "Go Kidd!" was being yelled from every direction. He was so awesome! We also saw my very fav Ashton Kutcher and P. Diddy on court seats and Chris' teammate Jordan (who came with us) accidently bumped into Jay-Z by accident in the hallway. It was a great night. Thanks Nik for lookin' out! =) God Bless Basketball!
